well. here is the rundown of Lollapalooza.

day one.

mates of state, cute husband and wife duo. very fun.
iron and wine. i think they would have been great except for one of the other stages was too damn loud to hear them.
raconteurs. i dug them, but there were too damn many people (like 10,000) so i couldn't hear terribly well.
sleater-kinney. we didn't listen to well to them, but for the most part i like them. apparently that was their farewell performance, which i found out after the fact, and kinda sucks.
death cab for cutie. first really good concert of the day. some dude passed out on jigau tho.

apartment.
party.
sleep on floor.

day two.

wake.
eat breakfast.
dance around the kitchen of the apartment.

feist. awesome live, and super cute. she sings all the in-between-song banter.
calexico. awesome.
gnarls barkley. same deal with the huge amount of people so it was hard to hear. not terribly revolutionary, but fun.
flaming lips. fucking awesome. the lead singer rolled around on the ground in a giant bubble. there were men in santa suits and girls dressed up as aliens and confetti and balloons.
new pornographers. fucking awesome. unfortunatly neko case wasn't there,but it was still in the top three best of the weekend.

day three.

lunch at Noodles in the Pot.

hot chip. fun and funky,
ben kweller. couldn't hear too well.
andrew bird. ok, but all his stuff sounded the same.
the shins. not so great live, but i still love them.
of montreal. very fun.
wilco. fucking awesomely wonderful.
